Family Updates

Here is what we are currently up to:

Tom - working as usual. He is generally home pretty early. He has recently read the Twilight Series...I couldn't believe it when he asked for my books. Enjoys singing on the Rockband, is working on the bass also.

Jen - started 9 hours of college courses this semeser (World Lit, Intermediate Algebra, & Texas Govt), has enjoyed sewing for Sydney and her American Girl doll, Josephina, and prep-ing for upcoming trial (pray for us).

RJ - plays on the 9th grade and JV basketball teams, is staying busy with practices and games 3-4 nights a week. He just started a new semester taking AP biology, Govt, Algebra 2 and basketball.

Sydney - Dancing Dancing Dancing...she has a competition coming in Feb (7 - 8), talent show tryouts on Feb 6, she rec'd straight A's on her recent report card, likes to play the drums on rockband.

Tom

Works alot! Is currently addicted to Settlers on-line (thanks to his lovely wife!). Likes to read and watch sports. Fan of the local Dallas Teams. He's working on the new Cowboys Stadium being built in Arlington, along with other jobs that keep him really busy and very hot during the summer. He is always willing to detail just how wrong those darn tree hugging, commie card carrying, ignorant liberals are (love ya mom and dad).

Jen

Currently off for the summer. Is enrolled in two evening classes for the fall semister and will be working at Brockett for the 4th year this fall. Loves to read as you can tell by the list below! Also addicted to video games (currently Settlers on-line or Webkinz - yes, I have two that my kids gave me for Mother's Day!) Also, enjoys sewing and scrapbooking.

RJ

Loves soccer and video games. Will be attending soccer camp this summer (he can't wait). Reads only when he has too but has managed to read 3 books so far this summer. Will stay up all night and sleep 'til noon if you let him. Starts High School this fall (GASP!). Will watch sports for hours on end (unless he is playing them on the XBox 360). Has recently discovered he can play WII games on-line. Loves just about any type of fruit but not veggies. Thinks he and Ali are attached at the hip, you can't have one without the other.

Sydney

Dance, Dance, Dance....need we say more? She is the social butterfly of the family. Always has somewhere she wants to be with someone. She will be trying out for dance company again this year. Enjoys swimming, shopping, and eating also. Is taking 4 dance classes this summer to keep up her skills, learn new dance types and keep in touch with her friends! What more can a girl ask for? Loves to play board games and do art projects and crafts. Attended her first scrapbooking class this summer at the scrapbooking conventon and did really well keeping up.
